Oh, the Zoomanity!

Welcome to my zoo blog. Most people have grown out of zoos by the time they can walk. I have not. There is such an amazing display of biodiversity out there - teeming with variety, color, and amazing creatures the likes of which some people have never seen, and may never get the chance to see.

It's a shame that some of these creatures are threatened - in the not-too-distant future, the zoo many be the only place we're able to view a handful of them. I'm not environmentally preachy, not to worry - the hope is that a simple awareness will help increase people's appreciation for these critters.

The world is filled with hundreds of thousands of amazing animals.

This is one man's quest to pet them all.
